AAP demands price control

Jamshedpur: Aam Admi Party(AAP) members today alleged that the state government had failed to put reins on hoarding and black marketeering in Jharkhand.

They said the government had miserably failed to stop traders from hoarding potatoes and onions and artificially hiking their prices.

The outfit member Prem Kumar said the government and district administration should not keep quiet after opening few suvidha kendras to provide potatoes and onions to the people on wholesale rate.

He said the government should have full and effective control on the trading of essential commodities.

The outfit members demanded raids at the offices and godowns of hoarders and black marketeers who were allegedly selling the commodities at exorbitant prices.
