AAP comes in support of Abhibhawak Sangh as hunger strike enters fifth day

Jamshedpur, May 30: Aam Aadmi Party Jamshedpur unit declared their support to Jamshedpur Abhibhawak Sangh which is on hunger strike since May 27 before the District Commissioner�s office.

Party members met district administration and also the protester to solve the matter. AAP urged the police and district administration to arrest culprit who were involved in the incident at Rajendra Vidyalaya and thrashed the parents in front of the school when they demanded admission to 25% reserved seats for the SC/ST.

Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday threatened to block the school gate and protest the administration if no action is taken against the school management.

It may be noted that 11 women parents along with Sangh President Dr. Umesh Kumar, Secretary Renu Singh and other members were allegedly beaten up by the school staffs and some outsiders were two pregnant women parents were injured.

One of the injured Sarita Majhi filed an FIR at Sakchi Police Station but after 22 days of FIR no action was taken by the police and the sangh resorted to hunger strike from May 27.

The sangh members on May 29 met CM at his residence and explained the incident to him.

Soon, CM ordered to call City SP Chandan Jha but after waiting for 15 minutes he didn�t arrived and Raghuvar left for a program and later SP reached the venue and threatened the protestors as to the filed FIR is false.
