Jamshedpur: While Arvind Kejriwal took oath of office in Delhi the party activists from Kolhan celebrated the occasion in a big way.
The party under the leadership of Kolhan in-charge Kumar Chandra Mardi took out ‘Sankalp Rally’ from Jubilee Park that traversed through main thoroughfares and concluded at Dhatkidih where a community feast was organized.
The ecstatic Aam Admi Party members said that the win of the party would bring in a change in political scenario in the country.
More and more people are joining the party which is an indicator of party’s growing popularity, they said. It may be mentioned here that a team of party’s Kolhan unit had campaigned for Aam Admi Party in Delhi assembly election.
While some of the members have already returned from Delhi the rest would reach the city soon.
In a statement Kumar Chandra Mardi said that the victory of Aam Admi Party is a victory of people and democracy.
The party would fulfill the responsibility entrusted on it by the people.
The Aam Admi Party has ushered in a transparent and clean politics.
The party would work towards nation building and corruption-free administration without indulging in politics of caste and religion, Mardi said.
