Jamshedpur, Nov. 18: Tata Gaushala Sangh will celebrate its 93rd annual convention of Shree Tatanagar Goushala in Jugsalai on Thursday.
Minister of State Civil Services and Food Supply Saryu Roy will be chief guest, while the Jharkhand state president Raj Agarwal will inaugurate the session. Mahavir Prasad Jalan famous industrialist will be the guest of honor along with Deepak Agrawal will attend the session.
Chandulal Bhalotia, president, Tatanagar Goushala, said that Gujarat had enacted a law for the protection of cow progeny and similar protection be guranteed to cow progeny across the country and called for a ban on its slaughter.
Speaking about the objectives of the meeting, the state working committee member and president of Sri Tatanagar Gaushala management committee Chandulal Bhalotia said the outfit members have demanded measures by the state government for the welfare of cows across the state such as setting up of a commission for cows proposed to be known as Goseva Commission.
Stringent measures should be taken by the government against cow slaughter in the state.
