9 corruption accused officers face axe, CM orders action

Ranchi, August 24: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has ordered action against 9 officers accused of corruption and defalcation.

He said that the Govt. is strict against officers/ staff involved in scams & exploitations of people. On the other hand, officers who are working sincerely will be rewarded.

Mr. Lakshmi Narayan Kishor, (J.A.S.) BDO, Basia, has been suspended by the Chief Minister for not ensuring development work in Indira Aawas Yojana, showing apathy in MGNAREGA work, sanctioning 2nd advance amount without getting the work done completely, financial irregularities & being insensitive about deprived people.

Moreover, the Chief Minister has also warned to dismiss him in case his works don’t improve in 2 years.

The Chief Minister has ordered to suspend Mrs. Moni Kumari’s,( JAS) BDO, Lapung service confirmation for two years against her irregularities in the selection of Aanganbari Sevikas.

The Chief Minister has ordered to suspend Mr. Devraj Gupta, JAS, CO , Hiranpur, Pakur, till next order from 25.06.2015 for taking bribe for survey of land & asked to present proposal for approval of prosecution.

The Chief Minister has ordered to demote Mr. Prasant Dev, Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department , Road Division, Pakur against his role in passing tender without testing the authenticity of 18 fake bitumen invoice by the work contractor leading to deficit of Govt. revenue. He has been demoted to minimum process salary of his post along with recovery of revenue deficit of the state .

The Chief Minister has ordered to extend the service confirmation date & probation period of Mrs. Meena Vats (JAS) Gomeo, for her negligence in duty, scam, not maintaining the accounts register & not observing her work.

The Chief Minister has ordered to deduct 10% of pension of Policorp Tirkey , Regional Deputy Director, Education, for 5 years under 139 (b) of pension rule 1950 for promoting 15 teachers of General category to headmaster before 1986.

The Chief Minister has ordered to deduct 10% of pension of Mr. Srimat Soren, the then BDO, Kundhit, Jamtara, for the whole life for his financial irregularities during his tenure.

The Chief Minister has condemned Miss. Sagari Baral, IAS, presently working as BDO, Baliapur, Dhanbad, for her negligence in the implementation of MGNAREGA at Latauna village during her deputation as BDO, Pathargama, Godda.

The Chief Minister has ordered to frame charge & do departmental proceedings against Shivaji Bhagat, the then BDO-cum-CO, Nala for accepting bribe of Rs. 30,000.

He was caught red-handed by Vigilance Flying Squad. Moreover, he has been charged for going beyond his jurisdiction & stopping construction on rayati land.
