8th edition of Srinath International Hindi Festival in Jamshedpur from December 20

Experts from UK, USA, Mexico, Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia to participate

Jamshedpur: Srinath University will be hosting International Hindi Festival from 20th to 22nd December at its Adityapur campus. The festival aims to highlight the significance of the Hindi language and its impact on various sectors of society.

Preparations for the three-day festival are underway, with participation expected from renowned experts from India and abroad.

Vice Chancellor Sukhdeo Mahato shared details of the festival during a press conference on Tuesday. He emphasized the event’s mission to celebrate Hindi as a global cultural and educational force. Present at the briefing were University Dean J. Rajesh, School of Engineering Head Shashikant Singh, and Assistant Professors Rachna Rashmi and Binay Sandilya.

Vice Chancellor informed that on the inaugural day, December 20, prominent speakers including Divya Mathur of the UK’s FRSA, Professor Kumud Sharma from Delhi University, Vice Chancellor of Shankaracharya Professional University Sadanand Shahi, Prabhakar Singh, Morjum Loyi, and Brajendra Nath Mishra will discuss the promotion of Hindi.

Day two will feature Deputy Commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Ravi Shankar Shukla, Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, IPS officer Prabhat Kumar, and Seraikela-Kharsawan SP Mukesh Lunayat.

The final day will host distinguished personalities such as Jharkhand High Court Justice Anand Sen and advocate Seema Samridhi Kushwaha. International guests will include Dr. Ashutosh Sharma from San Pablo, Mexico; Dr. Sanjay Singh from Kentucky, USA; Dr. Amit Rai from the Czech Republic; Dr. Sujay Pal from San Pablo, Mexico; and Dr. Gajwan Mohammad and Mohammad Shariq Shahnawaz from Bisha University, Saudi Arabia.

The festival is expected to serve as a platform for meaningful discussions and collaborations aimed at furthering the influence of Hindi on the global stage.
