Tamar, April 11: Sashastra Seema Bal has recovered eight kg IED bomb from Tamar area of Ranchi district during the search operation foiling Maoists bid to create problem.
Jharkhand Jaguar team reached the spot as soon as the information was received and defused the bomb. The Naxalites had hatched this conspiracy with the aim of causing harm to the security forces during the Lok Sabha elections 2024, but the security forces, showing promptness by conducting a search operation, foiled their conspiracy.
Police have recovered an IED bomb from a culvert on Monogora-Akarkola road in Tamar police station area of Ranchi district of Jharkhand.
The police was running a search operation. In this sequence, an eight kilogram IED bomb has been recovered. The bomb was sealed in a pressure cooker and kept under a culvert. It is being told that the IED bomb was placed under the culvert with the aim of causing harm to the police, but the police foiled their plan.
It is noteworthy that Sashastra Seema Bal had received information about the bomb. After the information, a team was formed under the leadership of Deputy Commandant Anurag Singh. The team got this success in the search operation. Inspector Kapil Nagar, SSB jawans, dog squad and police of Tamar police station were involved in the operation.
