Authorities should take cognizance to sort out the problems: CM

Ranchi, March 1: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday said that complainants should not be hindered from lodging their complaints.

�Through some sources we came to know that some people are trying to stop people from coming Ranchi to discuss their problems with the CM. It should be noted that the CM himself reviews the problems/ complaints received with Jan Samvad Kendra,� he said, adding that good governance means that the officers should take action by taking cognizance.

Praising some of the districts for achieving remarkable success in sorting out public grievances, the CM said that Gumla, Khunti and Jamtara have sorted out 73%, 72% and 66% complaints respectively. He said that we have sorted out 60% problems through Jan Samvad.

Speaking about the complaint against Champadih health center in Hazaribag, the CM directed all DCs to ensure availability of doctors in all health centers.

He said that the doctors will be appointed soon in the state.

Referring to the complaint of Mr. Dhirendra Nath Sah of Gopalpur, Bokaro, the CM directed the DC to ensure whether provisions were followed in installation of solar lights or not. He directed to take action against the mukhiya incase processes are not followed.

He directed to complete the rural road at Lawalong, Chatra as early as possible. He also ordered to deal with tribal cases properly and ensure that no innocent person be victimized.

Acting on the complaint of Balram Thakur of Godda against approval of Rs. 15,96,000 for construction of street, no work done and Rs. 12,00,000 withdrawn by mukhia Gulnaz Begum and panchayat sevak Vijendra Kumar, the CM ordered to lodge an FIR and take action against the guilty in a timeframe.

With regards to another complaint of cancer a patient Dhanesh Pd. Sahu who alleged that the money spent by him on his treatment has not been reimbursed by the govenment despite completing all official formalities, officers assured him in presence of the CM that the payment will be made within a week.

Considering the complaint of Pramod Kumar, the CM directed to take action on the guilty of constructing building on govt. land and issue a show cause notice on the sub-inspector who does not take interest in the implementing Section 144.

The CM listened to the complaints and ordered to do the needful. He was cross at not getting any UDD officers at the Jan Samvad.

Principal Secretary, Forest and Environment Sukhdeo Singh, Principal Secretary, Land Reforms K.K. Soan, Secretary to the CM Sunil Kr. Burnwal and senior police officers were present on this occasion.
