CBSE 12th: Patna Region Drops from 6th to 14th Position in National Rankings
Patna, May 13: The CBSE Class 12 results declared on Tuesday have brought disappointment for the Patna region, which slipped from 6th place in 2024 to 14th in 2025 among the top 17 performing regions. This marks a significant fall in performance, breaking Patna’s upward trajectory from the previous year.
While the overall national pass percentage improved slightly to 88.39%, up from 87.98% in 2024, Patna failed to maintain its earlier standing. The sharp decline has raised concerns among educators and stakeholders across the region.
Officials are now expected to review the academic support system and examination strategies to ensure better outcomes in future CBSE board examinations.
