Noamundi, Dec. 20: Sitting Zila Parishad and BJP leader Rajkumar Singh (serial no. 6) from East Singhbhum won the panchayat poll after the results were declared on Sunday.
On the occasion his supporters garlanded him with flowers. Singh is said to have friendly relation with Jamshedpur MLA and State minister Saryu Rai.
On the other hand sitting Zila Parishad member Devki Kumari Noamundi 13 was beaten by Shambhu Paswan by a margin of 775 votes, Shambhu Paswan got a total of 5885 votes whereas Devki Kumari managed 5110 votes.
Shambhu Paswan occupying the Zilla Parishad seat of Iron Ore Zunk field seemed extremely happy with the outcome.
He said, I will do my best to benefit of the people of Gua , Kriburu and Badjmada. On the occasion his supporters garlanded him with flowers.
