Jamshedpur, May 13: The Annual Training Camp-6 of the 37 Jharkhand Battalion NCC, under NCC Group Headquarters Ranchi, commenced on May 12 at Loyola School, Bistupur. The ten-day training program, which will conclude on May 21, is being attended by 721 cadets from 39 educational institutions across the Kolhan division.
On Tuesday, Camp Commandant Colonel Vinay Ahuja delivered the opening address, encouraging cadets to embody the core values of NCC—unity, discipline, and service. He also outlined the camp’s objectives and shared details of the comprehensive training programs planned for the participants, including drills, physical training, and other NCC-related activities.

Colonel Prem Chand Jha, Deputy Camp Commandant, along with ANOs, CTOs, GCAs, JCOs, and NCOs of the battalion, were present during the inaugural session.
Colonel Ahuja extended heartfelt thanks on behalf of the 37 Jharkhand Battalion to Father Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, and the entire school management team for their support in successfully organizing the camp.
The training camp aims to strengthen leadership skills, discipline, and national spirit among young cadets, fostering a sense of responsibility and commitment to the nation.
