Jamshedpur, Dec. 16: Around 700 medical and sales representative�s of Jamshedpur in a call of Federation of Medical & Sales Representatives Association of India (FMRAI) observed one-day strike before the deputy Commissioners office on Wednesday under the banner of Bihar Jharkhand Sales Representative�s Union.
In pursuance of 25 points demands on medicine related and labour law violation related issue medical and sales representatives observed strike and too out rally.
�We are demanding for reduction of price of medicine for decades. Particularly there should be Restriction on profit margin on life saving drugs, Drugs for AIDS, Cancer, Asthma, Diabetes Hypertension etc.
we have also demanded for strict implementation of Drug Price Control Order which is being diluted both by current & previous Govt. leaving provision for 10% upward revision every year under the list of National list of Essential Medicines,� noted an official observing strike.

We have organized meetings and signature campaign in different parts of Jamshedpur & got overwhelming response from common people.
The representatives took out rally from DC office to Eye Hospital in Sakchi where more than 300 members of the union were present.
