70 year old Sabar dies in fire mishap

Jamshedpur: A 70 year old man, identified as Chhotu Sabar, was burnt alive in a fire mishap at his house in Kashiabera village of Bhatkunda panchayat in Chakulia block in the wee hours of Saturday.

Sources said the man was found burnt dead in a heap of ashes inside his hut house this morning. Suffering from weakness, the veteran was unable to walk on his own.
According to Dulki Sabar, sister of the deceased, Chhotu was unmarried. Due to fractures in his legs and hip, Chhotu was mostly bed-ridden. “Yesterday night, Chhotu had retired to his bed after eating the food brought by me,” said Dulki.

Local police officials and BJP leaders visited Kashiabera in the morning and condoled the tragic death of the old man. Cops registered a case of unnatural death in this connection.
