65 beneficiaries get free LPG connection

Jadugora: As many as 65 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme were given free LPG connections at a camp organized in Hartopa panchayat on Thursday. A large number of villagers were present on the occasion. The chief guest of the programme was the MLA of Potka Menka Sardar while the guest of honour was Zila Parishad vice president Rajkumar Singh.
The Potka MLA handed free LPG kits to the beneficiaries. She said the Central and state governments were committed to the uplift of the poor and under-privileged classes. She said the poor people should avail the benefits of various government schemes meant for their welfare.
The MLA said more camps would be held in other parts of the block for distribution of free LPG connections.
