63rd National Pharmacy Week 2024 concludes at Srinath University

Jamshedpur, Nov 23: The 63rd National Pharmacy Week (NPW) 2024 at Srinath University wrapped up with a meaningful session on the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare. Held from November 17-23, the week-long celebration, themed “Think Health, Think Pharmacy,” included engaging activities, creative competitions, and insightful discussions.

The grand finale featured two distinguished guests from Sadar Hospital, Jamshedpur, O.P. Thakur, Chief Pharmacist, and Amod Kumar, Pharmacist-in-Charge. In a dynamic talk show, the speakers highlighted the importance of punctuality, dedication, and resilience in the pharmacy profession. They discussed the challenges faced by pharmacists and encouraged students to recognize their vital contributions, urging them to view themselves as equals to doctors in healthcare delivery. Thakur’s powerful message, “Bikna nahi, Tikna hai” (“We should not aim to sell our licenses but instead strengthen our role and respect in society”), resonated deeply with the audience.

The event marked the conclusion of a week filled with a vibrant awareness rally, faculty presentations, interactions with community pharmacists, and student competitions like rangoli and poster-making.
