Jamshedpur: Members of Jamshedpur Bengali Community, a Facebook group, distributed new clothes and gifts among 60 poor girls of Baldev Basti and Parvati Ghat. The distribution took place at Rainbow Hall, Jugsalai. The chief guest of the occasion was Ranjana Mishra, director of NEP. Other dignitaries included social workers Mehar Madan, Manik Mallik, Anjali Bose and Purbi Ghosh.
The programme was conducted by Barnali Chakravarty. A musical performance was rendered by Anandita Chakravarty and Avik Chakravarty. A dance was presented by Anjana Bhattacharya. Shardiya Gaan was presented by Anurag Arvind.
Among those present on the occasion included Piyali, Rajesh Roy, Vritika Chakravarty, Uttam Acharjee, Moumita Ganguly, Tapan Chakravarty, Manisha Ghosh and Ruby.
