60-bed Covid facility at Jamshedpur’s Tinplate Hospital

Jamshedpur, April 13: Sensing the growing need of Covid beds, the Tinplate Hospital is starting a 60-bedded facility starting from tomorrow. Dr Rajan Choudhry, advisor, medical services, Tata Steel informed that he spoke to the authorities of the Tinplate Hospital and they have informed 60 beds will start functioning at the hospital from tomorrow. The hospital is fully equipped with infrastructure required for COVID-19 cases and has made arrangements to meet the ongoing situation.

Jamshedpur recorded 370 COVID-19 cases on Monday, the highest single-day surge in the Steel City since the outbreak. The cumulative coronavirus case count stands at 21199 and the death count is 392.
