Jamshedpur, Oct 9: Tata Steel Jamshedpur Run-a-thon 2018 offline walk-in registrations will be open from October 10. This follows the popular response to the online registration facility, which was made available from end September 2018.
Participants can now register in the two following ways- Walk-in and pick-up registration form at Accounts Section, JRD Tata Sports Complex (0657 6644815 , 0657 2431141) and register on-the-spot or log onto http://www.tatasteeljsr-run.com and register online.
The last date to register for the 5th edition of Jamshedpur Run-a-thon is October 30. For the benefit of the interested participants, registration counters will be open at the Accounts Section, JRD Tata Sports Complex from October 10-30, 2018 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on week days only.
It may be noted that registrations will be done on first come first serve basis. Only first 6,500 registrations will be accepted.
The annual event Tata Steel Jamshedpur Run-a-thon is set to be organised on November 18, 2018. The 10-km run will kick-off from the JRD Tata Sports Complex with the first race scheduled at 0615 hours. This event is open all Indian Nationals. 10 km is the internationally-approved distance for road races by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
There will be different events for various categories of runners. The 10 -km run is open to all Indian Nationals and will have a registration fee of INR 500/-. Apart from this, there will be a 7-km run (registration fee INR 300/-) and a 5-km run for under-16 boys and girls as on November 18, 2018(registration charge INR 100/-). The reporting time for all races is 0600 hrs on November 18, 2018 at JRD Tata Sports Complex.
