Jamshedpur: The 54th Foundation Day of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) was celebrated at the Telco Labour Bureau Roundabout and Khandgajhad Market in Jamshedpur. On the occasion, sweets were distributed among the public under the leadership of JMM leader Nandu Sardar.
JMM leader Mahabir Murmu, who attended the programme as the chief guest, said that the formation of Jharkhand was possible only due to the long struggle and sacrifices of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha activists. He stated that the people of the state can proudly identify themselves as Jharkhandis today because of the dedication and commitment of JMM workers.
Several party leaders and supporters, including Vikram Singh, Santu Rai, Manish Tiwari, Chhote Tudu, Harishankar Chaubey, Bhola Pandey, Raju Mukhi, Hemant Das, Rajesh Yadav, Manoj Tanti, Durga Hansda, Vinod Prasad, Vishnu Nag, Raju Lohara, Bishu Lohara, Akash Patro, Sukumar Sardar and Abhinav Singh, were present during the celebration.
The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets and interaction with local residents.
