Jamshedpur : Rabindra Charcha (Kishore camp), organized by Tagore Society began at Rabindra Bhawan in Sakchi on Saturday.
A two-day youth camp on the literary works and philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore was inaugurated at the Rabindra Bhavan.

Total of 500 students from Saradamoni Girls High School, Sakchi High School, Tagore Academy, Ram Krishna Mission English High School participated.
The event was inaugurated by Swami Amritanand Maharaj, secretary of Ram Krishna Mission Jamshedpur, Tagore Society�s President Dr. SS Pal, general secretary of the society Ashish Choudhary.
The camp, ‘Rabindra-Charcha Kishore Shibir’, an annual event at the Tagore Society, began with eminent speakers of Bengali literature from Jamshedpur and Santiniketan speaking on various aspects of Tagore’s works, literature and songs.
Swami Amritanand spoke about Rabindra Sangeet and encouraged students to take up the art form to preserve their culture and tradition.
Ashish Choudhary, general secretary of Tagore Society said, today�s youth which has no or very less information about Rabindranath Tagore should follow his footsteps.
Rama Mukherjee said while addressing the students said, Tagore�s poems connect lives.Rabindra Charcha camp began in the year.
