
Jamshedpur, Sept. 29: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur conducted a health check up camp at observation home for juveniles at Central Jail in Ghaghidih on Sunday.
Dr. Arunima Luktuke, eye specialist and Dr TK Mohanty, general physician examined about 50 children.
2 kids were found infested by night blindness and were suggested for further investigation. Few children were found suffering from cough and cold, few with skin rashes and scabies and few had pain in their muscles and bones due to torture etc.
Inner Wheel Club members provided medicines to the children.
Dr Arunima also distributed some eye drops and ointments to these children which will help them in their better vision.
Doctors also attended 7 staffs of Ghaghidih. District Treasurer Dr Rita Jha, Vijaylakshmi Das, Pasam Adesara, Navita Prasad, Vinita Shah, Ranjeeta Sinha and Sarika Singh were present on the occasion.
