5 injured in 3 mishaps in Seraikela 

Seraikela, May 22: Five people, including a woman, were seriously injured in three different road accidents that took place late on Sunday night on Seraikela-Kandra main road under Seraikela police station.

All the injured were brought to Seraikela Sadar Hospital through road ambulance. From where the doctors referred one to MGM. On the other hand, the remaining three injured are undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital.

According to the information received about the first incident, 43-year-old Sarat Mahato, a resident of Kishnopur, was going home by bike at night after finishing work in a private shop from Seraikela. The other injured woman, 22-year-old Deepali Mahato, was going to Tiuniyan by bike along with her husband Atal Kumar Mahato.

Meanwhile, the 407 vehicle coming from behind near Sini Roundabout hit both the bikes and fled from the spot. Husband wife and Sarat Mahto fell due to the stumbling of the vehicle. Because of which women Deepali Mahato and Sarat Mahato were seriously injured while the woman’s husband suffered minor injuries.

After the incident, the three injured were brought to Seraikela Sadar Hospital through road ambulance where they are undergoing treatment. The incident is being told at 9:30 pm.

The second incident took place near Seraikela block office at around 10 pm where while crossing the road, an unknown vehicle hit 40-year-old Lal Chand Bagchi, a cook in the fisheries department. After the incident, the injured was brought to Seraikela Sadar Hospital through road ambulance where he is undergoing treatment.

The third incident is near the CRPF camp.

According to the information received about the incident, 30-year-old Jharkhand Police constable Kundan Tiwari was going to the police line at night. Meanwhile, he was seriously injured after being hit by an unknown vehicle near the CRPF camp. After the incident, passers-by informed the road ambulance. After which the injured was brought to Sadar Hospital. From where the doctors referred him to MGM after first aid.

3 injured in mishap 

Seraikela, May 22: A bike rider husband, wife and their relative were seriously injured in a road accident on Monday morning near Kankra turn on Seraikela-Kandra main road under Seraikela police station.

According to the information received about the incident, 30-year-old Ranjit Pradhan, a resident of Telai village of Rajnagar, was going to Jamshedpur by bike along with his wife, 23-year-old Pinky Pradhan and 17-year-old sister-in-law Rupanjali Pradhan. Meanwhile, suddenly a bull came in front of the bike near Kankra turn.

  In order to save the bull, the bike lost control and fell down. In which all the three bike riders suffered serious injuries. After the incident, with the help of the local people, all the injured were brought to Seraikela Sadar Hospital through road ambulance where doctors referred Ranjit Pradhan to MGM after first aid due to more injuries. While his wife and sister are being treated at Sadar Hospital.
