Jamshedpur, March 11: On the lines of Pragya Kendra in rural areas, 47 common service centers (CSC) will be opened in the city soon. The East Singhbhum district administration has asked the special officers of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC), Mango Notified Area Committee (MNAC) and Jugsalai Municipality to identify the land for opening of CSCs and submit the list.
JNAC, MNAC and Jugsalai Municipality have identified the land and submitted the details to the district administration. Altogether 25 common service centers will come up in JNAC area, 17 in MNAC and 5 CSCs will be opened in Jugsalai Municipality area. After the land is finalized, district administration will send the list to the IT department of Jharkhand government.

According to sources, central government has decided to provide 180 services through common service centers. At the CSC caste certificate, residential, income, birth-death, railway ticket reservation, mobile recharge, DTH recharge, Aadhar card including 180 services will be provided through CSC.
Significantly, 120 Pragya Kendra is currently running in 120 panchayats in the East Singhbhum district. At these Pragya Kendras caste certificate, residential, income, birth-death certificate making facility is being provided online.
According to a district administration official, in JNAC area common service centers will be opened in Sakchi, Aambagan, New Kalimati Road, Bhalubasa, Golmuri, Bagunhatu, Birsanagar, Premnagar, Agrico, Sidhgora, Telco, Jojobera, Bistupur, Shastrinagar, Kadma Market, Uliyan, Bhatia Basti Kadma, Kagalnagar Sonari, Kasidih, Dhatkidih, Bistupur near Voltas building and DC office premises.
A total of 17 CSCs will be opened in MNAC area including in near Mango Chowk, Post Office Road near post office, near Road No. 1 Sankosai in Dimna road, near Big Bazar in NH-33, near Pardih Chowk, near Chepa Pul, near Murda Maidan, near Bavangora chowk, near Al-Kabir roundabout on Old Purulia Road, near Road No. 7 in Old Purulia Road, near Yeshu Bhawan in Old Purulia Road, near Gandhi Maidan in New Purulia road, near Azadnagar in New Purulia Road, near Jawaharnagar road no. 15 in New Purulia Road.
5 CSCs will also be opened under Jugsalai Municipality area including Ward no. 12 Station road Jugsalai, Ward no. 9 Naya Bazar, Ward No. 5 in ME School road, Ward No. 3 in Mahato Para Road and at Ward No. 2 in Gauri Shankar Road.
