Jamshedpur, Feb. 28: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) board�s ICSE (class 10) examination will begin in Jamshedpur along with the whole country on Monday, February 29.
On the first day of the exam, students will answer English Language� English Paper 1. The exam is schedule to begin at 11 a.m., the students have been directed to be present at their respective centre 45 minutes prior to the beginning of the exam.
The students will be made to enter the classrooms 30 minute before the schedule start of the exam where they would be provided 15 minutes to fill the answer sheet. The CISCE board has decided to evaluate through digital technique.
The duration of English paper in ICSE exam will be is of 2 hours. The CISCE board has divided the city into two zones.
The convener of Zone1 is Father Sebastian Puthepura, principal of Loyola School, and it includes 15 schools. Hill Top School principal Puneeta B. Chouhan is the convener of Zone 2 which includes 13 schools.
Father Sebastian said that a meeting was convened to see to it that there is no untoward incident reported and exam passes off peacefully.
The next exam will be held on Wednesday, March 2 where the students will appear for Literature in English � English Paper 2 (2 hrs( followed by History & Civics – H.C.G. – Paper 1 (2 hrs) on Friday, March 4. Art Paper I (Still Life) 3 hrs on Saturday, March 5. Environmental Science (Group II Elective) 2 hrs on Tuesday, March 8. However, the last major will be biology on March 21. Thereafter, exams for elective subjects will be held.
The ICSE exam will conclude on Thursday, March 31 with Art Paper IV (Applied Art) which will be of 3 hrs duration.
A total of 4500 students will appear in ICSE exam from Jamshedpur. The exam was held at the home centre but the guarding will be done by invigilators from other schools.
