Jamshedpur, July 30: Sidhgora police has arrested four youths who were buying and selling brown sugar.
Around 42 bags of brown sugar, a mobile phone and Rs 2640 cash have been recovered from them.
Sidhgora police station official Ranjit Kumar said that on Saturday, there was information about illegal buying and selling of brown sugar by some youths near the toilet at Birsa Munda Town Hall. After this, under the leadership of DSP Head Quarter –I Virendra Kumar Ram, the police raided the spot and caught four youths.
The arrested youths include Aman Kumar alias Aman Bachha, resident of Sidhgora Vidyapati Nagar, Vijay Lohar alias Lulu, Suraj Yadav alias Bachha of Sidhgora Baridih market and Manish Prasad, who lives near Sidhgora AIWC school.
