Jamshedpur, Oct 19: Police arrested four men accused of gangrape on the wee hours of Sunday and have sent it to jail.
According to reports, four men gang raped a 22 year old girl at Turamdih under Sundernagar Police Station. Police sent the girl for medical treatment at the local hospital and accused have been sent behind bars.
Rural SP Shailendra Kumar Sinha on the statement given by the girl said, the victim after having a fight with her brother went out of the house to consume poison and was roaming in the area.
Accused men saw the girl late in the night and started beating her and took her to a nearby school and commited the evil.
Police acted soon and arrested all the four accused of gang rape and took them to MGM Hospital for medical examination and later sent them to jail.
