Noamundi, Sept 25: Under the aegis of Rungta Mines Ltd a football tournament was organized on Wednesday at Hizrihuting football ground to select girl�s under-17 age group for admission in Rungta football Academy Ghatkuri Gua.
Utkarmik Madhya Vidyalya Guasai, Utkarmik Madhya Vidyalaya Nuiyan, S N Ucchha Vidyalaya Gua Higrihuting village and Kalayan Nagar Gua took part in the football tournament. The event was inaugurated by Rungta Mines Manager Subhash Pradhan.
Mr Pradhan said that seeing the talent of the young girls the Rungta Mines constituted a team and provided training with a qualified football coach to young girls in football for two years as a result the academy has produced the players of international standard and they were selected to participate at Ranchi in upcoming international level tournament recently.
In final match SN high school Gua defeated the Hijrihuting football team by 2-0 Goals. Later on a friendly match was also organized between Rungta Football Academy and SN high School in which Rungta football academy team defeated the SN High School by 3-0 Goals.
In the Tournament 38 young girls were selected for Rungta Mines Football Academy who will be trained by a national repute football coach Eqbal Khan.
On the occasion as special guests President INTUC Duchha Toppo, Mukhiya Gua North Nutun Sundi , Mukhiya Gua West Lalita Purty , Zilla Parishad member Devkai Kumari and the representatives of different teams were present. The match was conducted and hosted by CSR general Manager Rungta Mines Falvinder Singh .
