33rd Zonal Mines Rescue Competition concludes

Ramgarh, Oct 6: The 33rd Zonal Mines Rescue Competition, organized by CCL, concluded with the prize distribution ceremony organized at Mines Rescue Station Ramgarh. Deputy DGMS Satish Chhiddarwar graced the occasion as the chief guest, while CCL CMD B Veera Reddy was the special guest. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the esteemed guests.

During the event, students from DAV School Barkakana presented a cultural program. Exceptional teams in various competition categories were honored with cups and gifts. A total of 11 teams participated in the competition.

The overall winner of the entire competition was the BarkaSayal area, with Argadda securing the second position and Piparwar area taking the third place. In the Best Team Rescue Relay Race category, Brigade Member Rescue Station Churi claimed the top spot, followed by 2nd Brigade Member Rescue Station Ramgarh and 3rd Rescue Station Kathara. In the Drill and March Past category, BarkaSayal Area secured the first position, with B&K Area in second place.

For the Best in Theory Test, BarkaSayal Area was in first place, followed by Amrapali Chandragupta area in second place. Kuju Area stood first in the Best Statutory Test, with Hazaribagh Area securing second place. BarkaSayal Area was again first in the Best Aid category, followed by Dhori Area in second place, and FAB BarkaSayal Area taking the top spot.Individual awards included Best Member Pinku Pradhan, Second Member Himanshu, First Best Captain Rajesh Kulavi, Second Ashish Ram, and First Best in Rescue and Recovery, which was awarded to Argada Area. BarkaSayal Area secured the second position in this category, with Piparwar Area in third place. The First Best in Rescue Relay Race was awarded to Joy Mining Services, and the second position went to Kathara Area.

The ceremony was attended by DMS Ranchi Aftab Ahmed, CMD DT RB Prasad, DT (P&P) B. Sairam, and other dignitaries.
