32-year-old man shot at in Adityapur

Jamshedpur, Aug 13: A 32-year-old man was shot at and seriously injured at Majhitola under Adityapur�police station�area on Tuesday night.�The victim Bittu Pandey is a resident of Majhitola and�was rushed to�the Tata Main Hospital where his condition is serious. �His�father Vipin Kumar Pandey,�told�the police that a local goon Santosh Thapa had conspired the gun-shot attack on his son and had�hired�a shooter �for the job.

Bittu Pandey was found lying�injured�near Kharkai river in Majhitola�.��The local�residents informed the victim’s family members who rushed him to Tata Main Hospital .

OC, Adityapur thana, Rajendra Prasad Mahto confirmed about the shooting incident at Majhitola. “We have started the probe and are trying to get a statement from the victim. We are trying to nab the accused too,” said Mahto.
