Jamshedpur, August 2: Telco police arrested three people involved in theft incidents during anti-crime checking.
The arrested accused include Navindra Singh, resident of Telco Kharangajhar, Suraj Singh alias Paji, Harpreet Singh alias Aman, resident of Birsanagar zone number seven and Kariya Pushti alias Rahul, resident of Golmuri Gadhabasa.
ASP city Shubhanshu Jain in a press conference held at Golmuri police station on Wednesday informed that on Tuesday, on the instructions of the SSP, a special investigation campaign was being conducted to control criminal activity in the area.

During the investigation, the police team saw three people on a scooty near Hudco Dam. The police tried to stop them but they started running, after which the police surrounded them and caught them.
During search 650 grams of ganja kept in the scooty was recovered.
In the course of questioning all three revealed the theft at two places.
On July 16, they had committed theft by breaking the lock of a house in Ring Road. On July 30 also, the incident of theft was carried out in two houses in Road Number-4 and Cross Road Number-4 of Telco Police Station area.
The police have recovered the stolen goods at their instance. Several criminal cases have already been registered against the arrested Suraj Singh and Kariya Pushti. The police sent all three to jail in judicial custody on Tuesday evening.
