3 model schools in Jamshedpur to have English medium, CBSE pattern studies 

Jamshedpur, May 2: The state government has selected 80 schools of excellence across the state to raise the standard of education in government schools.

In these schools studies will be done in English medium based on CBSE syllabus and these schools have also got recognition from CBSE board. Free education will be provided to all in these schools. In Jamshedpur too, three schools have been upgraded under this, including Utkramit Plus 2 Girls High School Sakchi, BPM Plus 2 High School Burmaines and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Sundernagar.

On Tuesday, the Chief Minister of the state started all the online schools across the state. Under this, a program was organized at the upgraded Plus-2 Girls High School, Sakchi in Jamshedpur, where Vijaya Jadhav, Deputy Commissioner of the district, was present as the chief guest.

These schools will have modern facilities like smart classes, computers, labs will also be available in these schools, which will prove helpful in providing better education to the students.

The Deputy Commissioner said during the program that knowledge of English language is necessary in today’s modern era. This is needed to get a better job. She said that enrollment has started in all the three schools of the district.
