29th annual Shyam Mahotsava to start on Jan 28

Jamshedpur: The 29th Shyam Mahotsava of Sri Shyam Parivar is going to be organized on 28th January. Preparations for the festival are on in full swing.

Addressing a press conference, Bablu Agrawal said a grand Shobha Yatra will be taken out in the city. The religious procession would start at 2 pm. More than 1100 devotees are expected to participate in the event.

A bhajan programme would also be organized in the evening from 9 pm onwards. A bhandara (feast) would be held on 29th January from 12.30 pm onwards. Hundreds of devotees of Lord Shyam are expected to turn up on the occasion, said Bajrang Lal Agrawal.

Agrawal said the bhajans would be sung by Avinash Sharma of Jaipur, Shilpi Kaushik from Moradabad and Krishna Murty from Jamshedpur. Ishu Mahadev and Group from New Delhi would also perform on the occasion, said Agrawal.

Among those present during the press conference included Rishabh Moonka, Tushar Jindal, Mohit Sah, Suresh Agrawal, Bajrang Lal Agrawal and Umesh Sah.
