Jamshedpur : The 28th Regional Conference of ASISC (Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate) Bihar Jharkhand region kicked off today Hotel Alcore.
T V Narendran, managing director, Tata Steel inaugurated the meet who asked principals to go beyond classrooms and make education easy accessible. Ashish Mathur, managing director, Jusco was the guest of honour at the inauguration. The theme for the conference was ‘Portraits of Success’. ADL Sunshine School is hosting the conference at a hotel in Bistupur.
As part of the programme a session by Mumbai based enthusiasm specialist Suresh Srinivasan, an inspirational speaker was also organised. All principals were encouraged through his interactive speech and the message that he gave was ‘Happiness is the key to success’.
About 129 principals who were a part of the conference also visited Centre for Excellence to gather more information on the Steel City.
The principals along with Gerry Aarathoon, CEO and Secretary, CISCE, New Delhi will participate in the annual general body meeting to discuss issues on education.
