
Jamshedpur, Dec. 4: The 25th edition of the annual coin exhibition JAMCOIN 2019 will be organised by Coin Collectors Club from 8th to 10th December 2019 at Tulsi Bhawan, Bistupur.
The exhibition is open for all citizens of Jamshedpur, school students, coin lovers, scholars and those who would like to develop their interest in coins/currencies, said Tarun Daga, managing director of Jusco and the chairperson of the Coin Collectors Club.
Addressing a press meet on Wednesday, Daga informed, Coin collection is called the King of Hobbies and due to this being educative, informative and interesting, students in and around Jamshedpur are always keen to actively participate. The members of the club and students from various schools will exhibit their coin collections, which will include ancient to modern coins.
The inaugural ceremony of JAMCOIN�2019 will be held on 8th December�2019 and closing will be held on December 10. The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 7 PM on all three days.
Jusco MD further said, to motivate school students Sit & Draw Competition (on Numismatic) in two groups (Std I to VI) at 12:00 noon and (Std VII to X) on 8th December�2019 (Sunday) at 12:30 pm.
Quiz Competition on Coins will be held on 9th December�2019 (Monday) from 11:00 am. On the sidelines of the exhibition, a Philatelic exhibition is also being organized with its theme being Coins/Currencies and Cleanliness.
It is expected that more than 15 schools will participate this year, apart from exhibiting by Club members and Coin Dealers, he added.
