Jamshedpur, Jan. 28: The 25th Asian Astrologers� Conference 2017 will begin at Ram Mandir, Bistupur, from February 3.
The three day long programme will witness astrologers from different Asian countries putting their heads together to discuss the present scenario and the future of astrology.
Ahead of the conference, a press meet was organised on Saturday where the organisers informed that Chief guest for the inaugural function will be Ramesh Kumar Agarwal on Friday. Special Guest will be Om Prakash Pandey, scientist, DRDO.
An executive committee has been formed for the purpose of organizing the event successfully.
Professor SK Shastri informed that the programme will witness participation of astrologers from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Astralia, Italy and USA. Predictive Astrology session will be held in the afternoon session.
A free astrology consultation camp and Practical Palmistry session will also be held on 4th February while Practical Vastu Shastra Session will be held on 5th February where Manoj Kumar Jha, IAS, secretary JPSC will be present as the chief guest.
Addressing the press conference at Tulsi Bhawan, Shastri said the main purpose behind organizing the conference was to re-establish astrology as a field of knowledge meant for public welfare and ensure participation of educated and intellectual people in promoting astrology.
Also present at the press conference was Murlidhar Kedia, chairman, Conference Committee.
