Jamshedpur, August 31: Valedictory and Certificate giving ceremony of 6 month diploma course for blood donor�s motivators organized by Voluntary Blood Donors Association, Jharkhand was held at Jamshedpur Blood Bank.
For the event Amit Mukherjee and Chandreshwar Khan motivated the outgoing diploma holders and expected their active participation.
Ms. Nalini Rammurthy, Secretary, Jamshedpur Blood Bank praised the initiative taken by the Voluntary Blood Donors Association and claimed that it is the continuous whole-hearted effort of VBDA that today even people come voluntarily to Blood bank to donate their blood.
She said that Jamshedpur Blood Bank and the VBDA are two sides of the same coin. Sunil Mukherjee said that 40% students of the first batch are helping us in organising blood donation camps.
He said, out of 35 candidates, 22 could complete the course and he expressed his confidence that the outgoing students will put their effort in spreading the awareness about blood and their necessity.
All the students were awarded certificates and all the speakers were given mementoes. Also present at the event were Dr. Moti of MGM, Rajnish and the faculty speakers of the Diploma Course.
