200 trees planted in TRF Colony

Jamshedpur, July 7: Sudhir Deoras, Managing Director, TRF and Mrs Madhuri Deoras, Chairperson, TRF Ladies Association planted the first sapling under the annual tree plantation programme, �Mera Ghar, Mera Ped� at TRF Colony on Tuesday.

Many senior executives of the Company, employees and their family members along with members of Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union participated voluntarily in �Mera Ghar, Mera Ped� programme and planted 200 saplings in the colony.

The tree plantation programme is held as part of the World Environment Day programme under which several events are held across the company during this period, such as environment quiz and skit competition and awareness activities.

The tree plantation programme was launched today, this year, after assuring that the soil had received adequate rainfall which would help to improve the survival of the newly planted saplings.
