Jamshedpur : A 25-year-old youth who was drunk fell from fourth floor of a multi-storyed residential apartment in Sonari today.
Identified as Abhishek Kumar Singh, the victim faced the unfortunate fate after fall from Brindavan Garden, the residential apartment when he had gone along with his friend Nikhil Pandey for meeting some girls who stay at that apartment.
Officer-in-charge, Sonari police station, Amis Hussain said both Nikhil and Abhishek had gone to meet some girls who are college students and stay at a rented house.
” As per our investigation it was Nikhil who had a connection with one of the three girls staying at the Brindavan Garden apartment, had gone along Abhishek.
Nikhil had knocked at the door, leading his girl-friend to open the window for a talk. But having observed that he was drunk, she declined to meet him and shut the window at his face. Subsequently, Nikhil started getting down the stair taking Abhishek along,” said Hussain.
” Abhishek again knocked at the door of the flat where the girls stayed. This time also two girls opened the window and as none of them knew Abhishek, shouted `thief.’
Abhishek who was under the influence of liquor ran for cover desperately and accidentally fell of an opening from the fourth floor,” narrated the officer-in-charge.
The officer-in-charge, Hussain said that they are yet to find out the youths’ motive behind visiting the girls from Burmamines to Sonari.
