Jamshedpur, March 9: A fire broke out on Wednesday in two makeshift hut-like shops located at Burudih Dam under Ghatshila police station area of East Singhbhum district.
Both the shops were charred. Shopkeepers Kartik Bhuiyan and Anant Bhuiyan told that very few people come to visit the dam on the occasion of Holi. For this reason, many shopkeepers were engaged in cleaning the dam. After cleaning, the accumulated waste was set on fire. After extinguishing it, they were preparing to come to the shop to have food, when suddenly a strong flame broke out in the shop.
