Chaibasa, May 5: Two youths died in a road accident on Thursday morning near Bharandiya under Karaikela police station area on Ranchi-Chaibasa main road NH 75 in West Singhbhum district.
Parashuram Puri, a resident of Ichahatu village under Hudangda Panchayat of Bandgaon block, and Vrindavan Sundi also of the same village were going by bike. Meanwhile, the bike crashed near Bharandia in Badgaon Valley. In this accident, Parashuram Puri died on the spot, while Vridavan Sundi was seriously injured.
After the incident, the people of Bharandia village informed the incident to the Karaikela police station. As soon as the information was received, the police admitted the injured Vrindavan Sundi to Chakradharpur Sub-Divisional Hospital where he too died during treatment. After the incident, the police took both the bodies in their possession and sent them for post-mortem. . Police are probing the cause of the mishap.
