18 thousand mosquito nets to be distributed to 10 health centers

Jamshedpur, Nov. 29: Malaria stricken Jobla village under Matigoda panchayat was provided mosquito nets on Tuesday.

Prabhavati Topno, block medical officer Dr. Prabhavati Topno and mukhiya Kartik Hembrom jointly distributed 100 nets among Sabar families.

According to plans, eighteen thousand medicated mosquito nets will distributed in Musabani block of East Singhbhum district. Around three thousand mosquito nets will be distributed at Jobla and Bada Jharna village of Matogoda panchayat while ten health centres of Musabani block will be given 18000 nets.

On the occasion, Musabani block medical officer Dr. Prabhavati Topno said, the mosquito net will be useful for five years and if mosquito comes in contact with the net it will die automatically.

Jharkhand government has provided the mosquito nets for distribution to Sabar families in malaria stricken villages. Earlier a health camp was organised and 29 patients were provided medicines of which 16 were found suffering from malaria.

At the event NN Bhakt, Jai Prakash, Subhash Ranjan Patar, Dilip Mahato, Tapan Ghosh, J Kumar, Sulekha Tudu, Geeta Sundi, Jeera Munda and others provided their full support.
