17 youths reach grand finale of ‘Jamshedpur Singh and Kaur’ Contest

Jamshedpur, Dec 15: The stage is set for the ‘Jamshedpur Singh and Jamshedpur Kaur’ contest on December 17, 2022 at Rajendra Vidyalaya auditorium. In order to provide a platform to Sikh men and women to showcase their talent, city-based social organisation, Aagaz is organising the contest.

Addressing the gathering, Inderjit Singh, the founder president of the organisation informed that a total of 35 contestants had registered for the event out of which 17 have been selected for the grand finale. He said after rigorous rounds of selection a list of finalists have been prepared.

He said that the response to the contest has been good. At the grand finale of ‘Jamshedpur Singh and Jamshedpur Kaur’, top three winners of both the categories will be felicitated.

Inderjit Singh further went on to inform that the famous singer of Punjab Inderjit Singh Nikku will be present mainly in the finals of the program, as well as the folk dance of Punjab, Giddha Bhangra troupe from Kolkata, martial arts Gatka, singing will also be part of the programme.  He went on to inform that many eminent people of the society will also be felicitated at the event.

On the occasion, mainly the patron of the organisation Chanchal Bhatia, founder president Inderjit Singh, Damanpreet Singh, Amanjot Singh, Malvinder Bhamra, Gurbachan Singh Raju, Rajveer Bhatia, event manager Harvinder Singh, Rahul Nag, Mohit Singh, Jagpreet Singh, Gurdial Singh etc. were present.
