Jamshedpur, Sep 8: United Football Association, Manifit in association with SCCN News will be organising 16th Mohan Singh Memorial one day flood light football tournament at DVC Ground, near Manifit Telephone Exchange on September 17, said Prashant Singh Putul, Director, SCCN News.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Singh informed that the knock out tournament will start at 7 pm while only 32 teams will be allowed to participate.
Informing about the rules and regulations, Singh stated that every match will be of 15 minutes duration and in the event of a draw, the winner will be decided through penalty shoot-out and the decision of the umpire will be final.
He further said that it is mandatory for every team to bring their own jersey and a football. The entry fee is Rs 3500 while the last date for registration is 14th September. JSA referees will officiate in the matches.
The winning team will receive cash prize of Rs 50,000 while the runner up will get Rs 30,000. The third and fourth placed teams will receive cash award of Rs 5000 each.
Also present at the press meet were Rajesh Kumar Singh, Kulwant Singh and Dharmendra Sharma.
