Jamshedpur, June 15: Recoveries from Covid-19 in Jamshedpur crossed the 50,000 mark, with 50 patients being cured of the virus on Tuesday, June 15. This took the tally of recovered persons to 50009 till now as the recovery rate once again rose to 97.52% of the total cases. With just 31 new Covid-19 cases, Jamshedpur’s positivity rate on Tuesday remained below 1%, as the city stayed on the recovery path after a brutal wave of infections between April and May.
The positivity rate stood at 0.92% on Tuesday. City on Tuesday reported 1 new COVID-19 deaths. Jamshedpur also reported 31 positive cases while 50 people recovered of the virus on Tuesday.
Active Covid-19 cases in the district has dropped down to 256 after 50 patients were discharged from hospitals and Covid care centres on Tuesday. Of the 256 patients still undergoing treatment for the coronavirus in the district, most are in home isolation, while some are being treated at care centres and hospitals.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur reported 31 new cases, which took its overall tally to 51310.
More than 3000 were tested on the day. Data from the state government’s daily health bulletin showed that the Covid-19 test positivity is 0.92%.The state, too, witnessed a massive fall in infections and fatalities.
The overall death toll in the East Singhbhum has reached 1045 and the total cases 51310.
The positivity rate of Covid-19 cases in Jamshedpur is around 0.92 per cent after East Singhbhum conducted over 3000 tests in the last 24 hours. The Steel City tested 3353 samples, of which, 31 turned out positive while 50 people recovered from the Covid-19 on Tuesday, June 15. The continuous high number of tests have pushed the positivity rate further down to 0.92 per cent, the government data showed.
The recovery rate has climbed to 97.52% while the active cases have come down to 256.

East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 376948 test per million in the district.
As per the records of health department out of 3353 people who underwent Covid tests in East Singhbhum 31 were found positive.
Over 3000 COVID-19 tests, including 308 RT-PCR and 2478 RAT were conducted in the last 24 hours in the city.
The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97.52% while the mortality rate is 2.04%.
So far in Jamshedpur 1010547 samples have been collected out of which 1003435 have been tested and 952125 have turned out to be negative.
