150 trees planted at TRF Colony

Jamshedpur: Sudhir Deoras, MD, TRF Limited and Rakeshwar Pandey, President, Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union (TRFLU), jointly planted a sapling to kick start the annual tree plantation programme in TRF�s residential colony, TRF Nagar, on Wednesday.

The tree plantation programme known as �Mera Ghar, Mera Ped� was launched after assuring that the soil had received adequate rainfall which would help to improve the survival of the newly planted saplings.

Senior officers of the Company including those residing in the colony and their family members, representatives from the Labour Union participated in the programme.

Employees residing in the colony said that since the trees had been planted around their residence they would also help to look after the plants so that they would survive and grow.
