Jamshedpur, Jan 6: According to the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, Suraj Kumar, the Executive Officer of Jugsalai Municipality conducted a drive to check on protective measures being adopted by citizens in Jugsalai. The campaign, led by the Special Officer, went around Chowk Bazaar, Mahato Para Road, Marwari Para, Station Road Gurudwara and culminated near the Jugsalai rail crossing. During the campaign fines amounting Rs 11,500 were collected from peo-ple bending COVID protocols including 15 shopkeepers. The Municipality team urged citizens to adhere to all COVID protocols. The municipality team also included the City Manager, In-charge Tax Inspector, Junior Engineer, Home Guard Jawans and members of the Surveillance team.
