Jamshedpur, May 27: Due to the scorching heat in the Mango Municipal Corporation of Jamshedpur and the surrounding areas, there is a water problem.
Recently, Vijaya Jadhav, Deputy Commissioner, Jamshedpur had instructed that during water supply, water is being drawn from the motor by the people, due to which the people are not getting water supply.
To deal with this situation, intensive raids were conducted by the raiding team in which 143 motors were seized so that the slums, low-lying areas or those who do not have motors in their homes can get water equally. As per the order of the Deputy Commissioner, special camps were also organized for water connection from May 17 to 25 in various places under the Municipal Corporation area so that people do not face water problems.
The district administration is also supplying water through tankers due to the heat so that people do not have to cry for water in this scorching heat.
