14-year-old dies after roof of Tata Steel quarter collapses in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 21: Fourteen-year-old Mohammed Suleman (father Mohammed Shabbir) died after the roof of a Tata Steel quarter collapsed in New Ranikudar area in Kadma.

Suleman was studying at Karimiya School in Dhatkidih and was a resident of Shastri Nagar Dapping Area, Block Number Two. Like every day, he went to the ground at New Ranikudar to play football with his friends.

He went to a quarter while playing football.

When Suleman went to fetch the ball, the back of the quarter fell on him.

He died due to suppression. After receiving information about the incident, the local police reached the spot and took the dead body and sent it for post-mortem.

�Tata Steel has several quarters in different areas of the city.

There are several quarters dilapidated, the company no longer allocates them.
