TSAF Sport Climbing Academy hosts inaugural Annual Day
Jamshedpur, April 12: Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) , Jamshedpur and TSAF Sport Climbing Academy celebrated their inaugural Convocation and Annual Day with great fervour at the BOC Lawns of Beldih Golf Course.
The event served as a proud culmination of a year filled with enriching activities and was a momentous occasion to recognize the outstanding achievements of the cadets. A total of 14 cadets from NTHA and 4 from TSAF Sport Climbing Academy were honoured with Convocation certificates, marking a significant milestone in their journey of excellence and dedication to their respective sports disciplines.
Throughout the year, cadets from various Tata sports academies participated in a range of engaging activities aimed at fostering camaraderie and holistic development. These activities included Cooking without Fire, Fun Games, Beach Volleyball, Dimna Cleaning Drive, Rangoli Competition, Nutrition Quiz and Games, Rafting & Team Building Games, and Kho Kho. To infuse a sense of healthy competition and teamwork, all cadets were grouped into five houses: Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Orange. The Orange House emerged as the winner, showcasing exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship, while the Green House secured the runner-up position.
During the ceremony, Pradeep from NTHA and Anisha Verma from TSAF Sport Climbing Academy shared their inspiring experiences, highlighting the transformative power of sports in shaping character and instilling values. As a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work, each graduating cadet was awarded a memento and certificate, symbolizing their remarkable achievements.
Chief Guest Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel , expressed delight at the growth and success of the academies, noting how they continue to expand their reach and excel in various sports disciplines. The Convocation and Annual Day served as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the sports academies towards nurturing talent and promoting excellence in sports.
