Jamshedpur, July 31: As per the orders of Chief Minister Raghubar Das, District Commissioner of Seraikela Chandra Shekhar issued a notification to 14 private companies to develop 75 schools across the district.
The notification is the result of the CSR meeting tabled by the state authorities in lieu of developing the school infrastructure in the state. The companies are to take up the development project & complete each tasks within a definite time-frame.
The Adhunik’s ‘project amrit dhara’ was lauded & the company has been directed to start similar programmes in other blocks of the district.
It is the best way to reach out to the public at the grass root level. Other companies which have been included in the school development project are Tayo, Usha Martin, TGS, Indian Oil, B.K.Steel, Rungta Mines, J.M.T.Auto, Ramkrishna forging, Metalsa etc.
This is based on a public-private-partnership (PPP) model of the govt. for development. The meeting was attended by DDC, ADC, BDO, members of the education department and CSR Co-ordinator D.P.Sen.
